Casa Rio offers lunch, dinner and cocktail boat service. Casa Rio makes arrangements with the private boat operator on behalf of the party’s host. Casa Rio provides all the necessary food and beverage services on board the boat. Reservations are made based upon availability of boats. The standard riverboat-dining cruise takes approximately 1 hour and 15 minutes and can accommodate up to a maximum of 20 people per boat for meal service (lunch and dinner) and up to 30 people per boat for cocktail cruises. Prices are based on a minimum of 10 adults per boat for food and beverage service. 

Dinner Boat Rates - BOAT COSTS ARE SUBJECT TO CHANGE BASED ON CURRENT PRICING BY RIO SAN ANTONIO CRUISES. Please contact our Reservations Office for current rates. The rates vary based on the time of day and length of the cruise. The restaurant books boat times to allow time for set up and clean up. Pick up and Drop off will be at Casa Rio Restaurant. Prices include tax.

Overtime - Additional time for a boat dinner must be booked and paid for in advance at an additional cost per half-hour or any portion thereof. Unscheduled/unapproved overtime will be billed at a higher rate. 

Alcoholic Beverage Service - Please confirm all alcoholic beverage service required on board the boats in advance. Margaritas, beer, wine and mixed drinks can be made available for set up on board your boat. We will run one tab for alcohol including gratuity to be added to your final bill. A limited full service bar is available for your boat dinner-cruise for a $25.00 set up fee (the fee is waived when only beer, margaritas, and/or wine is served). 

Fees/Deposits - A deposit equal to the current rates charged by the boat operator will be required immediately when making the reservation. If the date that you are requesting is more than one month away, the deposit is due within 48 hours of making the reservation. Casa Rio pays the boat charges or fees to the boat operator for charges incurred and are in addition to the meal price. Reservations are only held with receipt of deposit. Casa Rio does not make tentative reservations for boats. 

Cancellations/Refunds - 60 days or more 100% refund; 59-31 days 50% refund; less than 30 days no refund. If the boat company cancels due to inclement weather, the charges/fees will be fully refunded on boat dinners (see inclement weather policy). 

Inclement Weather - If there is inclement weather forecast, it is strictly at the boat company’s discretion to make a decision on whether or not the boats will be running on the day of the event. Rio San Antonio Cruises does not leave it to the restaurant’s or to the customer’s discretion to decide when the weather should be considered inclement. If the boat company’s decision is to run the boats and the customer cancels the event, no refund of the boat charges/fees will be made. If the boat company’s decision is to cancel the boats, then a full refund will be made. If the weather is inclement, inside seating will be based on current availability of our party areas. We are unable to guarantee inside seating for cancelled boat parties. 

Confirmations - Confirmation on the exact number of people for a boat party must be made 72 hours prior to the date of the event. The number of people confirmed at that time would be the minimum guaranteed for your reservation. If no confirmation is made, your minimum charge will be for the number of people stated when the reservation was made. If a change in your numbers results in a cancellation of a boat, then the Cancellations/Refunds policy applies.
